Summary
Iron Harvest: Operation Eagle is a major expansion for Iron Harvest, developed by KING Art Games, including a new faction, a new campaign, and new units for all factions.
The project was a part of the work I did for post-launch support on Iron Harvest.

Auto-cast Abilities
I defined and balanced an auto-cast feature for unit abilities so players could have them automatically activate based on pre-defined parameters.
This system would also be applied to our AI enemies to enable them to use most unit abilities correctly.
AI Improvements
Together with our AI programmer, I defined, implemented, and iterated on a feature enabling AI to use almost all bespoke unit abilities.
I also rebalanced the parameters and weights of our existing AI, accommodating the new units included with the expansion, as well as addressing common pain points that were feedbacked by the community.
New Game Plus
I researched and proposed various concepts for a new game plus feature for Iron Harvest that only used existing assets. These concepts included, among others:
Players carry over unit and their XP between missions.
Existing missions have tweaked content.
Players can play missions with a hero of their choosing.
Existing missions offer unique scripted challenges.
The team concluded that we did not have the scope and resources to develop the feature to our quality expectations, resulting in the feature being cut during concepting.
